Redefining you Mentorship

 If you would start applying these principles that I am sharing with you on a weekly basis, I assure you that you will begin to live the life that you only dreamt about!!! Aren’t you tired of “dreaming” about you being happy, successful, etc. now is the time for you to start LIVING it and BEING it!!! 

 I want you to start thinking about three areas that you would like to improve.  

 I had a coaching moment with someone that said to me “that’s just the way that I am!”. That was very alarming to me. I quickly responded “what I’m hearing you say is that you’re not willing to grow and improve”. The person quickly changed their words. We all should have a Personal Growth Plan, it’s simply a strategy to become the BEST VERSION of ourselves!!! 

 Don’t say that you don’t care because you should! Even your employer want to see you grow, learn and improve your performance constantly. If you’re self-employed, your customers and/or clients would like to see you grow and develop so they will grow as well. Regardless of where you are in life or your career field, growing, developing, improving, etc. should be part of your constant process.  

 Redefining you may mean that now you’re positive and less negative. Or that you’re more understanding and helpful. You actually have an opportunity to REWRITE YOU!!! How exciting is that to be able to CHANGE your attitude, thought process, etc. so that you can be more successful. You might see someone with a great quality and you say to yourself “I wish I was like that….they are so patient”. Guess what!? You CAN develop that quality within yourself! Whatever it is you can CHANGE and become a better person, a better father, mother, sister, brother, employer, employee, etc.  

1. Determine how you value yourself. Know your value! Know what you bring to the table, etc. Everything starts with how we see that person in the mirror! We TEACH people how to TREAT us! But it starts with how I see myself, knowing and understanding my worth and value!
2. Respect yourself and honor your soul’s desire and all things are possible in your life. 
3. You can not fix what you’re not willing to face! Looking great on the outside will not fix your broken or wounded soul. You can’t continue to try to cover up. You must admit your short-comings, your issues and put a plan in place to fix yourself.  Own up to your own issues. 
4. It’s time to get your mind right. If you change your mind, your entire life can and will change. This is extremely important for your success in life. Your thoughts control your life. What we think, what we discuss, what we believe all starts in our mind. When we get our thoughts right, all else will follow. Stop saying what they say about YOU and say what you SEE within yourself!!! It may not be negative but it’s just not truth. 
5. Define who YOU ARE!!! You are the Master of your fate, the captain of your ship…..be who you were created and called to be without any apology! What is it you want to do in life? What were you created to be?
6. Live YOUR life on purpose! Simply make sure that the one and only life you’ve been given is lived to the absolute fullest! Live your life in such a way that you can help others fulfill their dreams. Many times we motivate people without even knowing it. Be that person to someone directly or indirectly. Do what makes you happy? Enjoy the moment. What is it that you would do if you knew you would not fail? And put a plan together and do it! What are you passionate about? 

What do you enjoy doing and would do for FREE??? What gives you fulfillment? Follow your passion and you’ll find your purpose.

 Above all else, ENJOY YOUR LIFE!!!
